Accuracy

Fantasy football recommendation accuracy and backtesting

LineupLab will publish accuracy reporting as tracked recommendation data accumulates. This page documents the framework instead of inventing backtest results that do not exist yet.

Tracking framework

What LineupLab plans to measure

Recommendation quality should be measured against real decisions and reasonable baselines, not isolated highlights.

Public accuracy reporting should update over time with weekly recommendation cohorts, season-to-date summaries, and model-vs-baseline comparisons.

No fabricated stats

Current status

Public accuracy numbers are not shown until there is enough tracked, auditable data to make the comparison meaningful.

Start/sit accuracyTrack recommended starts against comparable bench alternatives.
Projected point errorMeasure absolute and directional error against final fantasy points.
Waiver hit rateReview pickups that become starts, gain role, or produce roster value.
Trade value trackingCompare rest-of-season value and lineup impact after accepted deals.
